Mobile Europe 2006

The Fifth European Conference on Mobile Solutions, Mobile Europe 2006, will take place in Malaga, Spain, on September 18-19, 2006.

Mobile technologies are becoming more pervasive everyday, now going even beyond human-to-human or human-to-machine communications to explore machine-to-machine interactions which may come up with new and promising integrated application domains.

The Conference will focus on distributed, reconfigurable and cooperative networked scenarios enabling intelligent ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) based applications and services. In other words, an insight from machine-to-machine connectivity to high level mobile applications delivered over existing and forthcoming telecommunication infrastructures

Mobile Europe 2006 will anticipate a vision of future Ambient Intelligence by bringing Short Range Wireless Communications (SRW) and Intelligent Communicating Objects (ICO) together with the whole range of existing and future voice and data oriented mobile facilities based on UMTS, wireless LAN, wireless WAN, etc.

The final Conference Programme will allow attendees to listen to keynote speakers dealing with current-state-of-the-art, technology trends, business opportunities and research priorities within the next years in this high growth potential market field

The Conference is of special interest for mobile telecom operators, mobile application developers, manufacturers of embedded systems, electronic communication devices and telecommunication equipment, system integrators, researchers and CTO’s of any sector which may benefit from breakthrough approaches based on mobile technologies empowered with new machine-to-machine capabilities.

Attending Mobile Europe 2006 provides multiple opportunities for networking, building alliances, appreciating cutting edge technologies, understanding EU R&D Programmes and having a comprehensive view of what is next in mobile technology.
